On Thursday, June 5, 2025, EMCAST participated in a discussion titled “Review of Training Documents and Mechanisms for Conducting STEM Continued Professional Development (CPD) for Secondary School Teachers.” The discussion was chaired by His Excellency Dr. Nat Bunroeun, Minister of Education, Youth and Sports.

The focus of the discussion revolved around three key points: (1) providing feedback on the training manual, (2) identifying implementation mechanisms, and (3) CPC Credit providing for STEM teachers. Stakeholders present included representatives from EMCAST, KAPE, the National Institute of Education(NIE), the technical team from the PIU-2 team of the STEP UP project, as well as national and international consultants. They actively contributed feedback on both the documents and implementation mechanisms, aiming to enhance the quality of the training program and align it with its objectives.

At the conclusion of the discussion, all participants reached a consensus on the content of the training document that had been developed. The document was granted approval for temporary use as a “ temporary document,” allowing for additional requests or changes as needed during its implementation.
