Selected Schools Embrace STEM Excellence: Evening Training Courses for Teachers from December 2-4, 2024

December 10, 2024

Five out of more than five hundred high schools nationwide have received the special opportunity to be selected by the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports as STEM education target schools under the support of EMCAST Inc. All staff will attend the training course in the evening school program from December 2 to 4, 2024.

The training focuses on STEM teaching methods for all staff in all departments of the school, teaching methods, creating STEM teaching materials, and concept videos for use in the flipped classroom model. The selected schools are thrilled to be part of this initiative, as it promises to revolutionize the way STEM subjects are taught and learned.

The teachers are eager to learn new techniques that will engage their students and foster a deeper understanding of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. They will explore innovative ways to incorporate hands-on activities, project-based learning, and digital resources into their classrooms.

The flipped classroom model, where students watch instructional videos at home and use class time for collaborative learning and problem-solving, is particularly exciting. The teachers will learn how to create engaging and informative concept videos that will help their students grasp complex STEM concepts more effectively.

The training will also focus on the development of STEM teaching materials, such as lesson plans, worksheets, and interactive simulations. These resources will be tailored to the specific needs of each school, ensuring that the STEM curriculum is relevant and accessible to all students.

The three-day training program promises to be an invaluable opportunity for the selected schools to enhance their STEM education offerings and prepare their students for the challenges of the 21st century. With the support of the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports, these schools are poised to become beacons of STEM excellence, inspiring and empowering the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers.
