





On 24 November 2025, at Kandal Practical Lower Secondary School (Network School), the training was officially opened by Mr. Chan Tola, Head of the Department of Vocational Affairs. Another Stage 1 offline seminar was conducted on 27 November at Prey Veng Practical Lower Secondary School (Network School). These one-day, offline seminars introduced mathematics and science teachers to the foundations of competency-based learning, the principles of flipped classrooms, and the essential connection between curriculum, teaching, and assessment.
The program follows an integrated learning structure combining:
Teachers who complete all components—including online sessions and assignment submissions—are awarded 1 CPD credit under the national framework.
EMCAST has been continuing scaling this initiative in 2025, engaging more practical lower secondary school teachers and strengthening regional teacher communities that support continuous sharing of best practices in STEM and competency-based learning.
