EMCAST, a renowned South Korean educational technology company, has been selected as a key partner for Cambodia’s national STEM education promotion program, a project supported by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS).
Over the past six years (2019–2025), we have worked tirelessly to support Cambodian teachers in delivering STEM education, with the backing of MoEYS. Currently, EMCAST is enhancing Continuous Professional Development (CPD) for teachers and training Core Trainers and STEM Teachers in collaboration with the National Institute of Education (NIE). This initiative aims to promote student-centered teaching methods, integrate technology into education, and strengthen teachers’ knowledge and pedagogical skills.
Since 2022, our company has contributed to teacher training efforts in Cambodia, enhancing the skills of approximately 1,000 teachers between 2022 and 2024. These initiatives have enabled teachers to implement innovative teaching methods and develop lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum.
Under this new program, EMCAST will lead practical training sessions focused on designing detailed curricula by teachers and implementing teaching practices centered on student learning outcomes. Teachers will receive training to create effective lesson plans and utilize practical strategies for classroom application.
The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport noted: “The collaboration between the Ministry and EMCAST will empower Cambodian teachers with effective STEM teaching capabilities, fostering Cambodia’s human resources and building a truly valuable human capital.”
EMCAST’s CEO stated: “Through our collaboration with the Asian Development Bank and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, we are committed to delivering exceptional STEM training that strengthens education at the secondary level.”
Through this initiative, EMCAST is advancing Cambodia’s STEM education landscape by providing innovative and sustainable training.
