✨Bridging the Digital Gap: How the 2025 STTC CPD program is Transforming Cambodian Classrooms✨

We are proud to announce the successful completion of the 2025 STTC CPD (Continuous Professional Development) Program, a cornerstone initiative conducted in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS).

Since its launch in 2019, this program has evolved into a self-sustaining model deeply rooted in the Cambodian education system. This year, approximately 80 secondary school STEM teachers from Phnom Penh, Battambang, Kandal, and Prey Veng participated in our blended learning journey.

💡 A Blended Path to Mastery

The program combined a 1-day intensive offline workshop with 2 weeks of self-paced online learning via the EMCAST STTC platform. This structure empowered teachers to:

  • Interpret Competency-Based Curriculum: Deepening their understanding of national standards and curriculum literacy.
  • Apply Flipped-Learning Strategies: Transitioning to student-centered pedagogy to improve learning outcomes.
  • Create Digital Learning Resources: Developing interactive materials using H5P and leveraging the STTC app effectively.

🎬 Practical Excellence & MoEYS Accreditation

Participants were required to design and submit Curriculum Designs, Lesson Plans, and Concept Videos (HTML/H5P) directly to our platform. Educators who successfully completed these tasks were awarded 1 Official CPD Credit accredited by MoEYS, recognizing their professional commitment.

📈 Proven Growth through Data

The impact of the program is clearly reflected in the growth of teachers’ competencies (Pre-test vs. Post-test):

  • Digital Content Creation (H5P): 101% Improvement.
  • Concept Video Production Confidence: 80% Improvement.
  • Flipped Learning Mastery: 47% Improvement.
  • Curriculum Interpretation Literacy: 52% Improvement.

A Message of Solidarity and Peace

As we celebrate these educational milestones, our hearts go out to the people of Cambodia. We sincerely hope for the continued stability and well-being of the nation, and we join in the collective wish for lasting peace and harmony to prevail in the region.
